American Federation of Government Employees Endorses Schneider
The largest federal employee union backs Schneider for congressional bid.
NORTHBROOK, IL–Today, Democrat Brad Schneider announced earning the endorsement of the American Federation of Government Employees.
“I am humbled to have earned the endorsement of the American Federation of Government Employees,” said Schneider. “AFGE is made up of public servants who are the backbone of our government’s operations and I am looking forward to returning to Congress to advocate on behalf of AFGE and all of organized labor.”
“Brad Schneider has a proven record of fighting for the priorities of AFGE members and we are proud to give him our endorsement,” said AFGE District 7 National Vice President Dorothy James. “With more at stake than ever we need representatives in Washington willing to stand up for organized labor and I have no doubt Brad Schneider is someone who we can count on.”
