Brad Schneider Earns Endorsement of UAW

Groups cites Schneider’s forward looking stance on campaign finance reform

Deerfield, IL – Today, Democrat Brad Schneider (IL-10) announced the endorsement of the United Auto Workers (UAW) Region 4. 

“Brad has always been a champion for middle class Americans,” said UAW Region 4 Director Ron McInroy.  “He gets the priorities of working people: raising wages and investing in education, infrastructure and domestic manufacturing. We’re proud to endorse him and look forward to helping him get back to Washington.”

“I’m honored to have once again earned the support of the UAW,” said Brad Schneider. “I’m proud of the work we’ve already accomplished together advocating for families in my district.  However, I’m acutely aware of how much we have left to do, and I look forward to continuing our fight for dignity and justice for working people and an economy that works for everyone.” 

This is the latest in a series of endorsements by state and local labor groups for Schneider including the Illinois State Association of Letter Carriers, IBEW Local 15, Pipefitters Local Union 579, Sheet Metal Workers Local 73 and others.
